50-Inch TV Mounted in Bedroom at Lake Haus Apartments in Minneapolis

50-Inch TV Mounted in a Bedroom at Lake Haus Apartments in Minneapolis

The Mounting Man was back at the Lake Haus apartment complex in Minneapolis on February 3rd, 2026 — this time for a bedroom TV installation. This 50-inch TV was mounted on drywall using a Rocketfish tilt bracket from Best Buy, with exterior cord concealing to keep everything looking sharp.

Installation Details

This 50-inch TV was secured to the bedroom wall on a Rocketfish tilt mounting bracket, a solid and reliable bracket available at Best Buy. We mounted it into drywall with lag bolts driven into wall studs for a secure hold, and the tilt function gives the homeowner the ability to angle the screen downward slightly — ideal for a bedroom setup where you're typically watching from bed at a lower angle than the TV.

For cable management, we installed an exterior cord concealing strip that runs vertically from behind the TV straight down the wall. The white strip blends seamlessly with the white wall, making it practically invisible. This is the go-to cable solution for apartment living — it gives you that clean, professional look without cutting into the drywall, which means no damage and no issues when it's time to move out.

The end result is a clean, minimal bedroom setup that makes the most of the wall space and keeps the room looking open and uncluttered. No bulky TV stand eating up floor space, no tangled cords hanging down the wall — just a sleek, wall-mounted TV ready for late-night streaming.

Bedroom TV Mounting in Minneapolis Apartments

Bedroom TV installations are one of our most popular services, especially in apartment settings. A wall-mounted TV in the bedroom frees up dresser or nightstand space, looks cleaner than a TV perched on furniture, and lets you position the screen at the perfect height and angle for comfortable viewing from bed.

The Rocketfish tilt bracket is a great option for bedroom installations. It's affordable, well-built, and the tilt function is especially useful when the TV is mounted at a height where you'll be looking up at it from a reclined position. A slight downward angle eliminates glare and gives you a much more comfortable viewing experience.

This was our second installation at the Lake Haus apartments today, a premier community in the Uptown area right across the street from Lake Calhoun (Bde Maka Ska). Lake Haus residents appreciate a clean, modern living space, and professional TV mounting with proper cord concealing fits right into that aesthetic.
