The Recessed Outlet Game Changer

This 65-inch TCL NXTFrame installation in Maple Grove showcases why the recessed outlet is essential for gallery-style TVs. A standard outlet sticks out about an inch from the wall. When you're chasing the flush look—especially with a frame TV that's meant to look like art—that protruding outlet pushes the TV away from the wall and kills the whole aesthetic. I cut a recess box into the drywall, installed a proper electrical outlet inside it, and now the TV sits flush against the wall with no gap. The power cord goes straight into a recessed opening, completely hidden.

TCL NXTFrame Mounting at Its Best

The TCL NXTFrame is gallery-grade TV technology. It displays art when you're not watching, has motion sensors, adjustable bezels, and deserves a mount that treats it with the same care. The flush installation against the drywall, combined with the recessed outlet, creates an installation that looks intentional and premium. This isn't just a TV on a wall—it's a piece of home design.
