Mixed Anchoring Strategy on Merritt Circle

This 70-inch Sony is a beast—older panel, solid weight. The drywall on Merritt Circle in Edina had studs positioned well on the left side, so I anchored there with lag bolts. For the right side, I went with heavy-duty snap toggles rated for 230 pounds each. Are they overkill for a TV mount? Absolutely. Quality anchoring means peace of mind for the homeowner.

The full-motion bracket lets the TV angle and swivel, giving flexibility from anywhere in the room. With a set this size, that articulation makes a real difference in viewing comfort across the entire space.
