Fixed Bracket on Brick: Low-Profile and Secure

A fixed mounting bracket keeps the TV as close to the wall as possible—typically about an inch off the surface. For this Plymouth brick fireplace installation, the homeowner wanted that clean, low-profile look where the TV sits tight against the brick and doesn't protrude into the room.

Fixed brackets are the simplest and most secure option. There are no moving parts, no pivot points, and the weight is distributed evenly across the bracket. On brick, we used a hammer drill with masonry bits and Tapcon concrete screws to anchor the bracket directly into the brick face. Every fastener was checked for depth and torque before hanging the TV.

The tradeoff with a fixed bracket is that you can't tilt or swivel the screen. But when the seating is directly in front of the fireplace and the TV height is appropriate, a fixed mount delivers the cleanest possible aesthetic.

Plymouth Brick Fireplace Mounting

Brick fireplaces are a staple in Plymouth homes, and they provide one of the most secure surfaces we mount on. The key is using the right hardware—masonry bits, Tapcon screws, and a hammer drill—and ensuring every anchor point is solid. We've done countless brick installations across Plymouth and always make sure the mount is level and secure before the TV goes up.
