The Stone Fireplace Challenge

Mounting on natural stone requires specialized expertise and equipment that standard TV installers often lack. Unlike drywall or wood, stone surfaces are unforgiving — there is no room for error when drilling into this beautiful but challenging material.

We used professional-grade masonry bits and anchoring systems specifically designed for stone installations. Each anchor point was carefully selected to ensure maximum holding strength while preserving the integrity and beauty of the stonework. The result is a rock-solid mount that will hold securely for years to come.

Tilt Mount Installation

We installed a heavy-duty tilt mount bracket, perfect for installations above fireplaces. The tilt functionality allows the homeowners to adjust the viewing angle downward, reducing neck strain and minimizing glare from the nearby windows.

All cables and cords were concealed for a clean, seamless appearance. The TV appears to float effortlessly on the stone surface, with no visible wires disrupting the aesthetic.

Complementing the Custom Cabinetry

The built-in maple and birch cabinetry flanking the fireplace is absolutely stunning, featuring glass doors that showcase the family’s board game collection and décor. Our installation was carefully planned to maintain perfect symmetry with these beautiful built-ins.

The TV placement creates a balanced focal point in the room, with the natural stone providing a textured backdrop that adds warmth and character. The hardwood floors and cozy family room setting complete this inviting space.
