TV mounting in Frisco

Frisco is a city of associations. The useful local fact is which community the house is in, and whether a builder already cut a hole for the TV. Neither one replaces a look at the room.

From $200 for a TV up to 60 inches. Pay only when the job's done.

The Mounting Man

Use the association name for the gate, not for the bracket

The Mounting Man

The City of Frisco publishes a voluntary HOA directory and runs a neighborhood program because the city has a very large number of associations. Phillips Creek Ranch and Starwood both appear on that southwest list. Starwood is a controlled-entry community, so a visitor needs the gate instructions, not just Frisco. Other communities are open streets. Write the community name in the booking notes and the legal address in the address field. An architectural committee may care about the outside of the house. An indoor mount is a different question. If someone gave you a written rule, send it. Do not assume the next subdivision has the same rule.

Check the pre-wire against the sofa

Production houses in communities like Phillips Creek Ranch were often offered by several builders, which means the house next door can hide its cords differently from yours. A low-voltage opening over the fireplace, beside a cabinet, or centered on a blank wall is a gift only when it lines up with how you sit. Tape a rectangle the size of the TV and look at it from the kitchen and from the couch. If the opening is too high, we would rather talk about that now than build the installation around a mistake. The Star, the sports complexes, and the tollway are fine landmarks and poor substitutes for that photo.

Stone on the fireplace is a booking choice

A stacked-stone or tile face is common in newer North Texas family rooms, and it is also common to find drywall painted to look like a feature wall. Tell us which you have. Fireplace stone, tile, brick, wood slats, and drywall are separate options in the booking form so you see the difference before you choose a time. A pull-down bracket needs clear space to travel and a fireplace that can accept it. Send the mantel depth. Plano, McKinney, and Prosper are separate cities with their own pages if the address is not actually Frisco.

FAQ

Still have a question? Give us a call. We're happy to help.

Does every Frisco HOA have to approve a TV mount?

No. Many associations regulate exteriors, landscaping, and satellite dishes. An indoor mount may not be their business. If your association gave you a written requirement, send it with the photos. We will not guess that Phillips Creek Ranch and Starwood, or any other pair of communities, share a rule.

The builder left a wire behind the fireplace. Should we use it?

Show us where it comes out and where you sit. If the opening matches the TV and the power arrangement is appropriate, it can simplify the job. If it is high or off-center, centering the TV on the wire can make the room worse. The wire is information, not an order.
