Older houses, tall fireplaces, later rebuilds
Highland Park was laid out as a planned residential town with curved streets and parkland along the creek. Many houses are older, and some lots now hold a much larger new house. A brick or stone fireplace in an older room can be the visual center and a poor viewing height. Test it seated. If the interior is plaster, or if a remodel replaced the plaster, say what you know and photograph the trim. We will not treat a Tudor or colonial facade as a materials list. The face the mount touches is the fact that goes in the booking options.
