CityLine needs building instructions

CityLine is a mixed-use district in Richardson, with apartments and offices near the Telecom Corridor and UT Dallas. If the screen is in one of those buildings, send the suite, how a visitor checks in, and whether management wants insurance paperwork before anyone drills. Coverage exists at the company. The building's rule is separate. A conference room and a bedroom in the same complex can want different heights and different brackets. Describe the room, not the campus.

Older houses often have less wall height

Away from the corridor, Richardson includes long-established residential streets. Many of those rooms were built with lower ceilings than a new two-story family room in Frisco or Allen. A TV that felt normal in a furniture showroom can dominate a ranch-house wall. Measure from the seat, not from the ceiling. If a brick fireplace is the only unbroken surface, show the mantel and the chair in one photo. Brick on the outside of the house still does not mean the mount is going into brick.

The county line runs through the city

Richardson sits in both Dallas County and Collin County. Do not pick a page based on the county. Plano is north, Garland is east, and Allen is farther up US-75. If the city on the address is Richardson, this is the page to read, and the street is what you book. A DART station is a fine meeting point and a poor substitute for a driveway. Include gate or garage codes only in the booking notes, not in a public email thread you do not control.

The building is near UT Dallas. Does the university approve the mount?

Only if the university is actually the landlord or the property tells you it is. Most nearby apartments have their own management. Send that office's rule, the unit, and the parking instructions. Do not send a photo of the campus in place of the wall.

Our ceiling is low. How should we pick a height?

Sit down and have someone hold a paper rectangle where the screen would be. If you have to tilt your head back, it is too high, even if that is the only spot above a fireplace. Tell us what you learned from the chair. We will work from that and from the structure behind the wall.
