The square and the south side are older rooms

Downtown Garland is a square, with the DART station on the north side of it. The houses immediately around that square, and the postwar streets farther south toward I-635, are not the shops. If the room has a lower ceiling, a brick fireplace, or trim you want kept, say that. Exterior brick is ordinary in these neighborhoods and usually stops at the outside of the house. The interior mount still has to find structure. An industrial building along Miller Road or Shiloh Road is a different kind of Garland address. If that is a workplace screen, send the suite and the hours we can be in the building.

Firewheel is the northeast corner

Firewheel grew up at the Bush Turnpike, with the town center and the municipal golf courses as landmarks. A house nearby can be newer than a house across town by the square, and it can still be ordinary drywall with a decorated fireplace. Do not book Firewheel Town Center. Book the house number. If the screen is going over stone or tile, choose that surface in the form so the price matches the labor. A pre-wired opening in a later Garland house deserves the same sofa test as a new house farther north: sit down before you center the TV on the wire.

The lake is a glare question only when you face it

Garland's boundary reaches Lake Ray Hubbard, and Rowlett continues on the far shore. A window full of water can wash out a dark scene during the hours you watch. Photograph the wall at that time of day if the TV would face the glass. Most Garland houses do not face the lake, so do not plan for glare you do not have. Richardson is west, Mesquite is south, and Rockwall is across the water. Use the city on the address when you leave this page.

Is Firewheel a separate city?

No. Firewheel is an area in northeast Garland. The downtown square and south Garland are also Garland. Enter the street address, and add Firewheel or the neighborhood name only as a finding aid.

Our fireplace is brick and the rest of the wall is drywall. Which do we book?

Book the surface the mount will actually use. If the plate is going on the brick face above the fireplace, that is the brick option. If you move the TV onto the drywall beside it, say so. A photo that shows the boundary between the two materials saves a wrong assumption.
