This is what a premium kitchen TV installation looks like. A 50-inch Samsung Frame mounted flush on the wall with a recessed box for the One Connect cable—no visible wires, no bulky components, just a sleek screen that looks like it belongs in this beautifully renovated Edina kitchen.
This wall presented some interesting challenges. Behind it was a closet, and where the wall transitions to the dining room, there was a stud right at the edge. That meant we had limited options for where to place the mount and how to route the cables.
We installed a recessed box that houses the Samsung Frame's One Connect cable connection, allowing the TV to sit perfectly flush against the wall. The Frame's slim-fit wall mount is designed for this exact look—when it's off or in Art Mode, it genuinely looks like a framed piece of art hanging on the wall.
The Samsung Frame is ideal for kitchens and open-concept living spaces. When you're not watching TV, it displays artwork instead of a black rectangle. In a kitchen like this—with the white cabinetry, marble countertops, and woven dining chairs—the Frame blends right into the aesthetic rather than disrupting it.
Positioned on this column between the entryway and dining area, the TV is visible from the kitchen, the dining table, and the living space beyond. Perfect for catching the morning news while making breakfast or having background entertainment during dinner parties.
