I mounted a 55-inch Samsung Frame TV above this fireplace in Wayzata. They didn't have an outlet or conduit running, so I concealed the One Connect cord through the fireplace cavity and down inside one of the cabinets where the One Connect box is now housed out of sight.
The Samsung Frame is designed to look like a piece of art when it's not being used as a TV, so keeping the installation clean is essential to the whole aesthetic. With the One Connect box tucked away in the cabinet, the only thing you see on the wall is the Frame itself — no cords, no boxes, just a sleek display.
The Samsung Frame uses a One Connect box that handles all the inputs and processing, connected to the TV by a single slim cable. The trick is finding the right spot to house that box where it's accessible but hidden. Cabinets, media consoles, and closets on the other side of the wall are all great options. In this case, the built-in cabinet next to the fireplace was the perfect solution.
Wayzata homes frequently feature fireplaces with built-in cabinetry on either side, which makes them ideal candidates for Samsung Frame installations. The cabinetry provides a natural spot to tuck away the One Connect box, and the fireplace gives the Frame a gallery-like setting that really showcases the art mode feature.
