This 65-inch LG went up on a drywall in Hopkins on Clarion Avenue, and I mounted it using a 4D tilt bracket anchored with four lag bolts into two studs. When you can hit solid wood, you use it — this TV isn't going anywhere. The tilt gives the homeowner flexibility on viewing angle without sacrificing that tight, clean look against the wall.
I ran all the cables through the wall so nothing is hanging out in the open. The homeowner is planning to swap in a new console down the line and set the soundbar on top, which is going to finish the setup perfectly.
