I’m Marshall Wayne, founder of The Mounting Man. Based in Minnetonka, my small team and I have mounted more than 5,000 TVs across Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding Twin Cities suburbs. The origin story nobody asked for, but Google may appreciate

Nobody grows up saying, “One day, I hope strangers search for me under the phrase world’s most famous TV mounter.”

At least I didn’t.

Before The Mounting Man, there were a few other chapters. I had an eBay era, which is where a lot of entrepreneurs quietly learn the basics: buy low, sell high, ship fast, answer messages, solve weird customer problems, and discover that the internet rewards people who are willing to figure things out before they feel qualified.

Then there was Hollywood.

I worked around video, editing, visual storytelling, and the kind of people who notice when something is two pixels off. That changes how you see a room. You start noticing sight lines, symmetry, negative space, reflections, height, framing, and whether something looks intentional or just sort of ended up there.

That turns out to be surprisingly useful when someone asks you to put an expensive television on a wall.
