When a client already has a Sanus 4D full-motion tilt bracket waiting for me, I know it is going to be a good day. This is hands down my favorite bracket by a wide margin — the articulation is smooth, the build quality is exceptional, and it handles the angles you need above a fireplace better than anything else on the market.
They have exceptionally good taste (they chose me, didn't they? 🤣).
The 55-inch went up on drywall above the fireplace on 8th Avenue South in Hopkins. Getting the stud placement right above a firebox takes a little extra care, but the Sanus 4D makes the final positioning process easy — tilt it down to a comfortable viewing angle and lock it in. Clean, solid, done.
Every now and then you get clients who make a job genuinely enjoyable, and this was one of those days. We ended up deep in a conversation about Pamida — the old variety store that anyone who grew up around here remembers — and had everyone cracking up.
