There's something special about Edina homes. The attention to detail, the thoughtful design choices, the way homeowners invest in making their spaces both beautiful and functional. This recent installation in Edina perfectly captures that spirit—a 55-inch TV and soundbar mounted on stunning white shiplap wood slats above a fireplace, creating a clean, modern entertainment setup that complements the home's aesthetic.
The homeowners had created a gorgeous focal point in their living room with horizontal wood slat paneling above their fireplace. The white shiplap provided a clean, modern backdrop, flanked by symmetrical windows and built-in cabinetry. Our job was to mount a 55-inch TV and accompanying soundbar without disrupting the carefully curated design.
Wood slat walls present a unique mounting challenge. Unlike standard drywall, you need to locate the studs behind the decorative paneling and ensure your mount brackets align properly. We used a combination of stud-mounted lag bolts and appropriately rated snap toggles to create an incredibly secure installation that will hold strong for years to come.
The soundbar was mounted directly below the TV, positioned perfectly above the white mantel. This placement provides optimal audio projection into the room while maintaining the clean lines of the overall design.
Edina is known for its beautiful homes and discerning homeowners who expect premium results. Whether it's a mid-century modern gem near Southdale or a newer build in the Country Club District, Edina residents appreciate craftsmanship and attention to detail. That's exactly what we deliver with every installation.
From concealing cables within decorative wall treatments to ensuring your TV is positioned at the perfect viewing height, we handle every detail so you can simply enjoy your new setup.
